Talk Now per second is designed for users who make short calls and want to control exactly how much they spend. Therefore, all calls (local and international) are billed per second.
Talk Now per minute is a plan designed for users who make longer calls and still want to benefit from the best rates per minute.
To check your account balance simply enter *131# and then press the call button. You will receive your balance and date of expiry in a message notification.
If your phone has been stolen, or lost we can help. Please contact us immediately, so that we can bar your SIM to stop calls being made on your account, and also blacklist your lost or stolen phone to stop someone else using it.

If the information you provide is not satisfactory you will be asked to provide more authentic evidence to prove ownership of the sim card.

This might happen if incoming calls have been diverted to another number. Most phones will show an arrow facing upwards on the screen.
If this is the case you have to cancel all diverts.The procedure varies depending on the type of phone however most handsets use the following procedure:

The person you were talking to might have either a faulty mouth piece or the ear piece on your phone might be faulty.
Try to make 2 or more calls using the same phone or use a different phone to confirm whether the problem on your phone or not.

You need to check and confirm that your calls are not being diverted to another number. All you need to do is to cancel all the diverts. The procedure of canceling diverts varies depending on the type of phone.

Your phone is warranted for the period indicated on your invoice, from the date of purchase in an Orange Shop or Authorised Dealer. In summary, it provides cover against defects in a phone caused by faulty materials or workmanship.
Regarding the manufacturer warranty, in addition to your handset, you may also have warranties for different accessories, which will be detailed on your proof of purchase. Please note that some warranty restriction may apply, please see the dedicated FAQ.
When faults in the handset or accessories under warranty are identified by the authorised Orange Uganda Repair Service Centre, the repaired or replaced service is provided free of charge.
If your phone needs to be replaced or repaired, please visit either an Orange Shop or an authorised Dealer with your defective handset and proof of purchase.
The repair time duration may vary depending on your location. Repair will be completed by our repair service centre or manufacturer repair service centre :
Within Kampala : within 3 days from the day of pick up by the repair service courier,
Up country: within 7 days, from the day of pick up by the repair service courier.
This warranty only covers products purchased from authorised Orange Uganda Shops and Dealers in Uganda.
Orange Uganda warranty excludes the following:
Normal wear and tear, rusting or oxidisation, atmospheric or climatic conditions or other deterioration due to normal use or exposure;
Disregard of the manufacturer's instructions for operation and care of your phone,
The Purchaser's or End User's mishandling, misuse, negligence, or improper installation, disassemble, storage, servicing or operation of the deliverables;
Damage during any testing, repairing, adjusting, servicing or maintenance operation or caused by improper or unauthorised repair maintenance
Power failures, surges, fire, flood or water damage, accident, actions of third parties or other force majeure outside supplier's reasonable control.
Use of third party products Deliverables of third Parties, or usage conjunction with third parties deliverables provided that such defects are due to the conjunction;
Any other cause beyond the range of normal usage for the product deliverables.
Removal or alteration of identification labels on the product..
If you have forgotten your SIM card's PIN code (Personal Identification Number) or if you have entered the wrong PIN code three times please call our Contact Centre toll free line 100, or visit any of our Orange Shops to get free of charge a code that will unlock your SIM card (PUK code (Personal Unblocking Key)).
If you have forgotten the handset code that you have personally defined, only a repair service centre will be able to unlock your handset, and you will be charged for the cost of this repair.
Orange Uganda Limited will not responsible for any locked phone due to entering a wrong handset code.

It means that you're inbox is full of messages. You will not be able to receive new messages until you create space by deleting old messages from your inbox.
The person you had called activated voicemail. You needed to listen to the instructions given to you by the answering machine and act accordingly. Remember that leaving a voicemail message is charged as a normal call.

This error only occurs if the settings were saved and not activated, for some handset types.
It’s important to activate the settings as default after saving them.
This usually happens when that website is not the right format for your handset, especially with
WAP only handsets. Please note that not all websites on the internet have WAP sites, but it is
important that you find out the WAP version of that site e.g. bbc.com can also be viewed in WAP
as bbc.com/mobile.
